Immaculate Heart of Mary

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us! Happy anniversary to all who took  vows of this beautiful feast. Thursday afternoon we headed to Middleville.  Friday morning we sang hymns at Mass.  After delicious sourdough cinnamon rolls made by Sr Mary Angela  we headed over to a parishioners house  who graciously offered to let us use their kayaks  as well as drop us off and pick up.  It was a beautiful two hours on a very gentle river where we were surrounded by nature.  It did wonders to refresh the body and soul.  Back at the convent Sr Mary Angela and Sr Maria Magdalena made homemade pasta for dinner.  Saturday after Mass we headed to Jackson, MI  for a Civil War Reenactment that our graduate was participating in. Sr. Maria Magdalena made a loaf of sourdough bread  for Nick's company. Sr poses with some of the other students  who came out to see the battle. Next we took a beautiful drive  over to Jerry...

A very long process but we're almost finished! The gray material is a felt pin board and let me tell you, it's SUPER sticky!  Not advisable...
