The Week of Mysteries... Well Almost!

Welcome back to...

The Mystery of the Water Leak...

and a Slice of Humble Pie!

Blessed Feast Day of Our Sorrowful Mother!
This evening, after prayers, we came back to cook up a little dinner and found a huge puddle on the ground and a leak from the ceiling. Luckily one of our parishioners came to the rescue to help us figure out the problem... more to come later on...

As for school, the second week started out normally with the usual daily duty routine

Sister putting her Literacy skills to work

"The Bumble Bee Challenge"
(Sisters class has 1 minute to create a picture based off a random sentence to the interlude of
"Flight of the Bumble Bee")

CAD Class with Mr. Malik

students assembling computer parts

We acquired this new 3D Printer, thanks to a generous donor

Recess as normal but... has anyone seen Patrick lately?

Well, it's only week two but, I think I'm seeing double!

No, No. All is well! It's the Fr. Radecki Twins!

Fr. Dominic came in town to visit and gave a religion class for the students

and, of course, had magic tricks ready as well

Defying the laws of motion...

Metal puzzles

Retrieving the random empty canister Father told you to put up high

To then find the card you just drew on
(even with a special marking no one would know)

Yes, Nick was impressed

Those trying to watch every movement Father makes in order to learn the secret

                    But just being completely mystified....

How does he do it?

It all finished with Father talking about the importance of saying
the Rosary and devotion to Our Blessed Mother.
Thank you, Father Dominic!

Friday, the students sang their second Requiem High Mass for a parishioner who had passed away.

Later that day... Some manual labor during recess?
Well one of our parishioners handles the convent, school and church landscaping and needed some new dirt moved for the beds so...

Kids will do just about anything for toys... right?...
 well maybe not all...
But this one really wanted the bag of sharks that was up for grabs
and all he had to do was shovel some dirt to earn it.
He didn't mind and was as happy as can be after the job was done... and it wasn't much for the little guy

The older students wanted to help out as well!
And truly what a big help they were!

To finish off our week's adventures, one of our families made their Total Consecration to Mary!

What a beautiful gift to Blessed Mother!

And now the mystery of the water leak has been discovered!
It turned out that Sister Maria Magdalena is the culprit...
A humidifier in the upstairs room leaked out and went through a crack in the floor and down out the ceiling light fixtures...
thank goodness it was just that and it wasn't a broken pipe!

More adventures soon to come!

God Bless you!
