We Survived!

Hello There! We survived our first week of school!

These last two weeks have been a whirlwind with final preparations and the first week back to school with the students!

Earlier last week, Fr. Francisco Radecki took us out to Port Huron and we explored a few historic areas including the Port Huron Carnegie Museum and the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse

Friday, we took a few trips to our local hardware store to get more materials for our school playground which turned out to be apostolic as well. Our two trusty workers have been a blessing in helping us get all that we need. Keith is recovering from throat cancer and was praying we would be in so he could give us the good news about some recent tests. Sam's son had just survived, mostly unscathed, a terrible car accident. Please pray for the two of them (L to R;  Sam and Keith)

School began on Tuesday and the students were more than excited to be back.

Our second grader thoroughly loved our "Back to School" board and  thought our shark was
JAWS-OME!

I guess they always did say keep your friends close and your anemones closer!

Fr is teaching Church History and Latin to the Jr High and High School students.

The new Merry Go Round has been the highlight of recess for all ages.
I don't know who has more fun, the ones spinning or the ones watching.

We walked to the park for a picnic lunch.

BRAIN GYM
Henry helps his brother do sit ups.

David joins in the fun after helping out with choir.

The students sing hymns every Friday for Holy Mass.
We were thrilled to have 20 parishioners for First Friday Mass and devotions!
We are having free dress for First Fridays this year.

We now have a Four Square painted on the parking lot.
The students are enjoying this new game.

A UFO???
No a URO (unidentified rolling object)
Nope it's called a Cyber Truck and one of the Middleville
catechumens just emerged from it.

We went to visit Sr Maria Dolorosa while Sr Mary Angela is in Spokane for her sister's wedding.
Celebrating a great start to the school year and first vespers of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary we went to a local ice cream shop.

Blessed 50th anniversary Sr Mary Imelda! You are in our prayers.
