In one Fall swoop, it's autumn again!
Now who doesn't love some homemade pizza?
We started out the week with the feast of
Our Lady of the Rosary with some homemade sourdough pizza!
(Left-pesto; Right-marinara)
It turned out to be extremely enjoyable!
Students hard at work practicing their mental math skills
Archery Season is a go! Mrs. Bako training in the new archers
Tip for you archery instructors - use stretchy bands instead of cord for string bows!
"Help! They're making us collect sticks!"
"Nick... What's the tree for?"
It's for the impromptu bonfire with the smokeless fire pit
With s'mores
Thanks to our experienced Boy Scout we were able to have a nice fire and an easy clean up as well
Nick was trying to channel his inner 'Gandalf' but Henry has a different feeling about it
And after all the fun, the boys needed to move one of the carpets from the school. Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you, they ARE using mop buckets to wheel it in
Later in the week, during our free time we played the bumblebee challenge with the junior high.
After a series of questions asking for nouns, adjectives and verbs, we created our sentences for the drawing.
This one is "Octopus dying on a rock"
One of the favorites
"Lion jumping over a castle"
"Nanny fighting six large cows"
Majority of the students misinterpreted nanny for granny!
After Saturday Mass, we went with the students to the annual Pancake Breakfast at the Wayne Fire Station. We won the classroom pizza party a second time!
Pancakes with sausage and breakfast beverages
They had a photo stand in
All Smiles
Amazing Face Painting
What will she be?
Spider man
Say Cheese!
Cat and Butterfly
All had a good time
You never know what Father will bring home from his begging runs...
the latest included a LOT of Coca-cola
Another reason Sr Marie Vianney needs to come visit :)
And canned pumpkin... and now just imagine 15-20 more cases of pumpkin
It has been such a blessing to have daily exposition with rosary! We have several devoted parishioners who come for daily Mass and rosary. Our Lady must be very pleased.
More to come... Have a blessed week!
