Shark Attack! Flood Update and More!

  Fr. Francisco's birthday surprise  Scuba Steve looks a bit different today This was a well kept secret Sr Maria Magdalena's class helped prepare the shark ice cream sandwiches The rest of the week was normal classes Phelipe makes an appearance Mr. Malik is teaching personal finance to the high school class While the high school has math the rest of the school does science together  Me asking Blessed Mother for help.  This was a Mary Poppins cabinet!  Trying to move into the old convent of the school had a few challenges.  Tino came to the rescue.  Actually his owner Kisa, a newer parishioner spent about 3 hours helping us clean out and organize the kitchen. Tino was an added bonus and offered much needed stress relief.  Sister's face says it all. Another cabinet to clean out, really? Saturday we started cleaning out the science cabinet. A very quiet second week of school  Latin class consisted of illustrating their vocabulary  Amici! I bet I can draw a better depiction of you Creativity galore! Sushi! Yes, it is possible to meal plan even on mission! Ew! A candy eyeball!    Sister assisting students with their edible cell for science Once students identified all the pieces in the cell, they obtained a cytoplasm (jello)!  They then inserted the parts of the cell into the jello! Here's a close up! They could take it home and save it for later Some wanted to eat theirs right away! Blessed Feast Day of Our Mother of Sorrows It's definitely a St. Louis Marie de Montfort day... Many crosses always mean many blessings!!! After Mass this morning we found out that a valve burst in the upstairs bathroom and  we, unfortunately, have lots of water damage on all three floors. It had been running, possibly, for almost an entire hour.  The culprit...  Carpets were completely soaked and stained...

“Back Again”

"Welcome Back!" First week of schoo l has flown by, and we're back to learning. My turn, our turn, your turn... Year 2 of Literacy Essentials  It does get easier, we promise  Hang in there! Brushing up on those Latin declensions although outside seems much more interesting We don't usually go to the beach the first week of school but we needed supplies for our terrariums. Try not to be too jealous :)  God blessed us with a beautiful day! Last years graduate joined us and graciously consented to be buried Best way to start off the year Confessions and Holy Mass Now for work on our terrariums Beyond excited over the new train pieces Mr Carpenter sent Fr.
