We enjoyed a quick trip to Lake Erie last Monday. Bella with her infectious smile It was another great week of school. Friday we celebrated Fr's birthday and had a prospective student visiting for the day.  The Crusader by Patrick The Rose by Ms Isabeau  Happy Birthday Fr. Francisco! Lynne giving big brother a helping hand Lunch with Jr High boys Sister Maria Magdalena: I can't eat potatoes. Urban: So, Sister, can you eat mashed potatoes? Patrick nearly chokes on lunch and roasts Urban,  why would she be able to eat mashed potatoes? Urban responds, "Dude, they're different textures, duh!"  Here is a sneak preview of the mural be painted over the altar by Tecla Dellaire. She is an incredible artist. 

The Week of Mysteries... Well Almost!

Welcome back to... The Mystery of the Water Leak... and a Slice of Humble Pie! Blessed Feast Day of Our Sorrowful Mother! This evening, after prayers, we came back to cook up a little dinner and found a huge puddle on the ground and a leak from the ceiling. Luckily one of our parishioners came to the rescue to help us figure out the problem... more to come later on... As for school, the second week started out normally with the usual daily duty routine Sister putting her Literacy skills to work "The Bumble Bee Challenge" (Sisters class has 1 minute to create a picture based off a random sentence to the interlude of  "Flight of the Bumble Bee")   CAD Class with Mr. Malik students assembling computer parts We acquired this new 3D Printer, thanks to a generous donor Recess as normal but... has anyone seen Patrick lately? We Survived!

Hello There! We survived our first week of school! These last two weeks have been a whirlwind with final preparations and the first week back to school with the students! Earlier last week, Fr. Francisco Radecki took us out to Port Huron and we explored a few historic areas including the Port Huron Carnegie Museum and the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse Friday, we took a few trips to our local hardware store to get more materials for our school playground which turned out to be apostolic as well. Our two trusty workers have been a blessing in helping us get all that we need. Keith is recovering from throat cancer and was praying we would be in so he could give us the good news about some recent tests. Sam's son had just survived, mostly unscathed, a terrible car accident. Please pray for the two of them (L to R;  Sam and Keith)   School began on Tuesday and the students were more than excited to be back.  Our second grader thoroughly loved our "Back to School" board and ...
